Time and difficulty (approximate): 6.5 hours, 750 meters of elevation gain, 37 km<\/p>\n

Departure from Izola, from where we cycle through the Parenzana tunnel to the beautiful Strunjan valley. We ascend to the nearby hill, from where we have a view of the entire coast and the Strunjan salt pans. Then we cycle to the hinterland and through olive groves and vineyards in beautiful Istrian villages such as Malija, Korte, Cetore, \u0160ared and Ga\u017eon. Along the way, we see cultural and historical sights, such as the archaeological park in Korte. A snack and a taste of local delicacies await us there. Refreshed, we continue our journey into the unspoiled nature towards the beautiful abandoned Istrian village of Krog, where the views extend over the Padna valley and the Se\u010dovel salt pans. We will continue along the trail in the hinterland, where we will see water sources that the locals used for themselves, for washing clothes and for watering livestock. Then it’s time for a multi-course lunch with local delicacies. After resting, it’s time to return, where we descend to Izola with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste among the vines.<\/p>\n
