Speedboat trips on the Gulf of Trieste

The Bora Experience is preparing a new experience at sea, which will be available from June 2026 for all those who want to explore the Gulf of Trieste in a relaxed, scenic and adventurous way. Private half-day and full-day speedboat trips for up to 8 passengers will be available, always with our skipper.

The excursions will be a great choice for couples, families, small groups of friends, private celebrations, hotel guests and even small business groups. Each excursion will be designed as a pleasant combination of sailing, swimming, sightseeing, seafood and discovering interesting coastal spots.

Departure from Izola and adjustment by arrangement

The departure and end of the trip will usually be in Izola, which is an excellent starting point for exploring the Slovenian coast, nearby Italy and Croatian Istria. By arrangement, it is also possible to start or finish at another location if this suits the group or the excursion programme better.

Each excursion will be tailored to the guests’ wishes, so the focus can be on relaxing panoramic cruises, swimming in beautiful bays, culinary stops or sightseeing tours of natural and cultural and historical attractions.

Excursions along the Slovenian coast

The Slovenian coastline offers many beautiful spots that are best experienced from the sea. Points of interest include the White Rocks, Cape Ronek, the Bay of the Moon, Strunjan, Piran, the Sečovlje Salt Pans and the Museum of Saltworks.

This excursion is the perfect choice for those who want to combine relaxation at sea, swimming, beautiful views and a stop for good seafood. Cruising along the coast gives you a different view of familiar places and creates an experience that you can’t experience in the same way from land.

Excursions to Italy and Croatian Istria

There will also be excursions to Italy, with Miramare, Devin, Porto Piccolo and Grado among the highlights. The Italian side of the Gulf of Trieste offers a special combination of history, elegant coastline, well-kept marinas and excellent seafood cuisine.

For guests looking for a relaxed summer getaway, the direction towards Croatian Istria will also be very attractive. The Savudrija promontory is known for its beautiful views, clear sea and pleasant coastal atmosphere. Such a trip can include swimming, relaxed sailing and a culinary stop in a fishing village.

Our special offer will also include tailor-made excursions. We can tailor the programme to the group, the duration of the trip and the individual’s wishes. Some will want more swimming, others more emphasis on cuisine, others a panoramic cruise without rushing or a combination of different stops.
