SPEEDBOAT TRIPS IN THE GULF OF TRIESTE

At Bora Experience, we are preparing a new sea experience that will be available from June 2026 for everyone who would like to explore the Gulf of Trieste in a relaxed, scenic and memorable way.

Private half-day and full-day speedboat trips will be available for up to 8 passengers, always accompanied by our skipper. The trips are a great choice for couples, families, smaller groups of friends, private celebrations, hotel guests and smaller business groups.

Each trip is designed as a pleasant combination of cruising, swimming, coastal views, seafood cuisine and discovering interesting seaside locations along the Slovenian coast, nearby Italy or Croatian Istria.

DEPARTURE FROM IZOLA AND TAILOR-MADE OPTIONS

The departure and return point is usually Izola, which is an excellent starting point for exploring the Slovenian coast, the Gulf of Trieste and nearby coastal destinations. By prior arrangement, the trip can also start or end at another location if this better suits the group or the itinerary.

Each trip can be tailored to the wishes of the guests. The focus can be on a relaxed panoramic cruise, swimming in beautiful bays, culinary stops, sightseeing or discovering natural, cultural and historical landmarks.

PREMIUM AXOPAR 29 SPEEDBOAT

The trips are carried out on a premium Axopar 29 speedboat, 9.3 metres long and powered by a 400 HP engine. The boat can reach a maximum speed of up to 50 knots, which is approximately 92 km/h, while its cruising speed is over 30 knots.

This means that from Izola, we can cross the Gulf of Trieste and reach Grado or Duino Castle in less than 30 minutes. Thanks to its hull design, the Axopar 29 cuts through waves with ease, making the ride smooth, stable and comfortable even on longer routes.

The boat offers cushioned seating around a table both at the stern and at the bow, making it ideal for relaxed socialising, enjoying the views and comfortable stops at sea. For extra comfort, it also offers sunshades, a toilet, shower, fridge for cold drinks, speakers for music and much more.

HALF-DAY SPEEDBOAT TRIPS

Half-day trips last approximately 4 hours and are a great choice for those looking for a shorter, relaxed and memorable sea experience. They are suitable for couples, families, friends, small groups or as a special surprise.

SLOVENIAN COAST

A panoramic trip along the most beautiful parts of the Slovenian coast. From Izola, we cruise past Moon Bay and Strunjan to Piran, where there is time for a short visit to the town. On the way back, we stop at the White Rocks, where you can swim in the clear sea.

Route: Izola > Moon Bay > Strunjan > Piran > White Rocks > Izola

SUNSET TRIP

A relaxed afternoon trip, ideal for couples, friends or small groups. From Izola, we cruise to the White Rocks, where there is time for swimming, then continue towards Cape Ronek or Moon Bay, where we watch the sunset from the sea. After sunset, we return to Izola.

HALF-DAY TRIP PRICE

Included in the price: Speedboat, skipper, fuel, snack on the boat (finger food, sparkling wine, juice, water), final cleaning of the boat and organization.

FULL-DAY SPEEDBOAT TRIPS

Full-day trips last approximately 8 hours and are designed for those who want more time for cruising, sightseeing, swimming and culinary stops. You can choose between trips along the Slovenian coast, towards Croatian Istria or towards Italy.

SLOVENIAN COAST AND SAVUDRIJA

A complete sea experience combining the Slovenian coast and nearby Croatian Istria. The route takes us from Izola past Moon Bay, Strunjan and Piran, where there is time for a visit, then continues to Cape Savudrija. There is an opportunity for swimming, followed by lunch in an authentic fishing village.

SLOVENIAN COAST AND GRADO

A full-day speedboat trip towards Italy, perfect for those who want to combine a panoramic cruise, town sightseeing and a relaxed day at sea. From Izola, we cruise past the most beautiful parts of the Slovenian coast to Grado, where there is time for sightseeing and lunch. On the way back, we stop at the White Rocks for a swim.

SLOVENIAN COAST AND ITALIAN CASTLES

A varied full-day trip along the Slovenian coast and the Italian part of the Gulf of Trieste. The route takes us past Moon Bay, Strunjan and Piran to Duino Castle, the Duino Cliffs, Portopiccolo and Miramare Castle. The trip includes time for sightseeing, swimming near the Duino Cliffs and lunch at a selected location.

CUSTOM TRIPS AND DAILY BOAT CHARTER

A special part of our offer is tailor-made speedboat tours. The programme can be adapted to the group, the duration of the trip and individual wishes. Some guests may prefer more swimming, others a stronger focus on local cuisine, a relaxed panoramic cruise or a combination of different stops.

This means that every trip can be slightly different, while the goal always remains the same: to create a pleasant, boutique and unforgettable sea experience.

The price of a daily boat rental with a skipper is: €1500 + fuel  (final cleaning of the boat is included)

PRIVATE TRIPS, PARTNERSHIPS AND TEAM BUILDING

In addition to classic private trips, cooperation with hotels, tourism partners and companies will also be possible. Speedboat trips are suitable for boutique guest experiences, special occasions and smaller team building events at sea.
