Route: Izola > Strunjanska dolina > Strunjanska soline > Strunjanska cliffs > Belvedere > Izola

Time and difficulty (approximate): 3.5 hours, 200 meters of elevation gain, 16 km

From Izola, we cycle along the Parenzana route to the Šalet tunnel, from where we can admire the cities of Izola, Koper, Trieste, the Karst and, in clear weather, all the way to the Julian and Carnian Alps. We continue through the tunnel and along the Parenzana path along the Strunjan valley, where we will be accompanied by a view of the salt fields. We reach the sea in the bay of Strunjan and stop to see the museum of salt pans. From there we climb towards Mesečev zaliv and the Strunjan cliffs… We spend some time taking pictures at the vantage point near the sign of the cross above the cliff. We cycle between olive groves towards Cape Ronek and continue along the ridge with a wonderful view of the Alps, the sea and the surrounding hills. From Belveder we then descend to Izola.

• The trip starts and ends in Izola.
• When placing the order, write the desired difficulty under the notes: Easy or Medium difficulty. The guide will try to adapt the trip to the wishes of the group.
• In case of bad weather, the trip will be rescheduled or the purchase price will be refunded.
• The e-bikes are for heights from 155 cm.
• Children from 2 to 5 years and up to 27 kg can take part in the trip in a special Mac Ride child seat.
